"I Am the Messiah"

Just wanted to share a testimony about the Power of God with you!!

I am always declaring unto us all the gospel! What it is and how it is the Power of God to those who believe! Well, I wanted to share with you a couple more things from my last video.

A few weeks back I noticed I had a small bump/growth coming up on a sensitive part of my eye. I have shared before when the power of God had removed a pea size knot from my brow bone, but this was a little different. I didn’t bother with it...just kind of dismissed it, which really meant, I wasn’t believing the gospel to get it gone!! I just “accepted” it for the time being and thought “Oh, it will go away, I’ll be believing.” Well you know what, believing is standing in, trusting in, the gospel daily for everything! Not taking anything “lightly”. And I’ve shared with you how I must remind myself too, to keep those things in memory.

Well, you know what, that little growth started getting larger!! And I said to myself, “Misty you better get ahold of this and BELIEVE!!” So I set my heart to believe and to see salvation from the Lord, to see the power of God move.

I began to see a change some days later, and was encouraged, but it was not totally gone! One night while I was sleeping I was praying in my sleep. My body was sound asleep, but my spirit was fully awake and I knew what was happening. I was yelling with a loud voice.. JESUS, JESUS, JESUS, JESUS, over and over for a period of time. When morning came, and I awoke I knew I had been praying through the night the name of Jesus! As I got up to wash my face and get ready for the morning I noticed that the growth was completely gone!!! Thank you Jesus!!

Remember we can believe the gospel ( 1 Corinthians 3-4 ) and we are to remember what Romans 1:16 tells us about the gospel; that it is the Power of God for our salvation to those who believe! I encourage you today to believe, expect to see salvation from the Lord, and do not be moved away from the hope of the gospel!

Psalm 119:116
Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope.

God Bless You!

The Lord Does Hear Us!

When I was teaching school I loved to get up early and be there long before others would show up. It was some of the quietest and most peaceful times.... and seemed as if the rest of the world was asleep. As I came to know Jesus more and more, I valued those times even more. I found that many times the Lord would talk to me, minster to me, or remind me of some of what he has done in my life. I was again reminded of this testimony in the last few days and would like to share with you here! It is a good reminder to us all that he does hear us!!

We were just a handful of days from leaving Oklahoma. I was finishing my last school day as a teacher on May 30, 2014. Our plan was for me to be all checked out of school, have ourselves loaded up , and pull out for Texas.

We had given away things we would not be taking with us over some time, as well as almost all my school things; but we still had plenty of things left we still needed gone by that Friday and it was quickly approaching! Anthony was working in the garage, and I had made a sign that I was going to put out near the main highway that led to our house.

As I was pulling out I said, "Lord, we need this stuff gone!! All of it!! You could just have someone come and take it all!!" I went on to the road, put my sign in the ground, and as I was turning around to walk off, a couple drove up and said they were headed my way.

By the time I pulled back up to my house they said they were taking everything! They shared how they had recently lost everything in a fire, and they could use the things we had.  What a blessing!! And it was all gone!! We just thanked God!!

Psalm 68:8;
Trust in him at all times; you people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us.

Remember my friends, every day is an opportunity to believe on the one raised from the dead, and that one, that man, is Jesus Christ. To believe the gospel I share with you in I Corinthians 15: 3 -4. We are told if we have heard it and have received it, we are to stand in it!! To keep it in memory!! And you know what? If we do, we are saved by it!! That gospel, which is the power of God, will work in our lives for everything!! BUT.. it also will not work if our believing has been or is in vain.

I encourage you today, call on the name of Jesus! My prayers have greatly increased to where I am continually calling on that name! "JESUS, JESUS, JESUS, GRACE JESUS".

The scriptures tell us there is no other name under heaven in which men are to be saved. And that name is Jesus!

God Bless!

" Just Keep Coming! "

John 5: 2 - 8

2: Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches.

3: In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.

4: For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatever disease he had.

5: And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.

6: When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?

7: The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.

He didn't have anyone that could help him get in, but he was still coming to try and get in.

8: Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.

The man received salvation, he was made whole.

Sometime back here at the church we began having prayer. We were instructed that if there was anything we needed from the Lord, to believe, and come to the front to receive prayer and whatever we needed. Well I had some things I was after from the Lord! For myself and someone I knew! In Matthew 15 the woman went after Jesus for her daughter, I was after Jesus for this someone too.

It can be uncomfortable going each time, your unbelief starts to arise and try to get the best of you. Will people think you really need a lot of prayer because you keep going each time? But I kept coming! Then one day standing there before the invitation was given, the Lord spoke to me, " Keep coming for ( the person's name )." Now I had no excuse!

Every time the invitation was given I reminded myself of the words Jesus had said to me, "Keep coming for.... " I didn't want my unbelief to stop what was available. And if I had to be like the woman in Matthew who kept coming after Jesus, taking all the crumbs she could get, then I knew I had to keep coming. I would remind the Lord of that.

This person couldn't walk and be there to go to the front for prayer; but I could, and I was there on their behalf, before the Lord.

Well I kept coming, believing the words spoken to me, and pushing away everything else trying to get me to not go. Even though to my eyes it didn't seem like much was happening, results did come, and that brought a change. A change where they received salvation and were delivered!

That is what is available to us when we serve the man raised from the dead. That man's name is Jesus Christ!

I encourage you to call on his name, Jesus. Call on him, go to him, stay after him for whatever you need!! Don't just go once, twice, a few times, and give up! Be persistent!! Fight for what you are after from the Lord! He is the only one who can bring the salvation in our lives.

God Bless!
